  • Name: Accounting Department Creation date: 2013 Number of stages: 4 years The Accounting Department is one of the new scientific departments at Al-Esraa University College, as the department was created in 2013 for the purpose of preparing and graduating qualified accountants and auditors to fill the shortfall in governmental and non-governmental departments, and the department grants a bachelor’s degree in accounting for graduates. The Accounting Department was created according to the letter of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Supervisory and Evaluation Authority in the number (5446 )10/11/2013. In the department there are two morning and evening studies, and it is linked to the Dean of Al-Esraa University College according to the organizational structure of the college
     
Vision, mission and goals
  • Vision

    It attempts to be a pioneer in financial and accounting fields through watching over and coping with local, regional and international variables. It also attempts to scientifically and practically qualify graduates to be at the service of society.

    Mission

    Our message stems from the service we render available to all financial and accounting industry through the provisioning of specialized teaching that meets the lack in the various fields. We aspire at achieving the best performance and providing efficient teachers and employees who are expected to be a productive, stable and active work force.

    Objectives

    1. Preparing highly efficient graduates specialized in financial and accounting fields to get along with developments in all related sectors.
    2. Supporting state offices, non-govt. companies with unique talents with consideration that accountancy is a specialty rarely found in private colleges; therefore we are accountable to committing to this mission.
    3. Developing the curriculum to cope with the word standard auditing and accounting categories and rules in order to meet the increasing local needs.
Graduate Description
  • The Accounting Department grants graduates a Bachelor's degree in Accounting for preliminary study with all the rights and privileges that result from that certificate.
      The duration of the study is (8) academic courses.
      Graduates of the Accounting Department are appointed to work in accounting positions with the rank of assistant accountant or assistant, account manager, financial manager or audit manager in the following positions:
      Exchange and financial distribution.
    Preparing salary and wages tables.
      Sales and purchases.
    Preparing final accounts and financial statements.
    Arresting and safekeeping of the fund.
    Accounting bookkeeping.
    Any other accounting work
